Touch of Winter

Jack Frost on my window
Snow lays on the ground
Stars still twinkle way up high
And Moon shines all around
Everything is frozen
The birds can’t get a drink
I’ll put some water out for them
They’ll need to get there quick
Make a clearing in the snow
Put out some bread and seed
Sparrows Doves and Pigeons too
All flock down to feed
Back indoors the kettles on
A cuppa’s what I need
Egg and bacon in the pan
Oh heavenly indeed.

Hi Royster.
Hi Royster.
So nice and cosy to be in a warm kitchen looking out at the birds that gather to feed on the food you provide - not forgetting the importance of drinking water, of course. Your bright rhyming poem has caught the sparkly, snowy scene really nicely.
Enjoyed.

Hi Roy,
Hi Roy,
you're really good at these Winter scenes, I caught the atmosphere of the cosy kitchen with the bacon and eggs cooking, and the birds enjoying their food and fresh water that you provided..
A magical picture indeed.
Jenny.

Hello again Roy,
Hello again Roy,
Yes, you do manage to create in words a wonderful winter scene and the appreciation one feels when one is looking out from a nice warm kitchen.
