Wings of golden fire,
far and wide, are spread
then the phoenix sun of springtime
raises up its bright plumed head.
Where its golden feathers
fall upon the ground
then green grass and silken flowers
start to spring up all around.
Buttercups and daisies
bluebells and daffodils
like a pretty gown of petals
cover all the fields and hills.
And tickled by its feathers;
warm beams upon their skin
little children laugh and smile and
then their springtime games begin.
