The sky is grey all day
The sky all day is grey
The sky is blue but brighter than my mood
The sky is brighter blue than my mood
The sky is blue
The sky is black I quite like that
I quite like that the sky is black
The sky is black I really like that
The sky is red I wish that I were dead
I wish I were dead, blood red dead
Like a sky that is red
The sky is green quite horrible so it seems
It’s in my dreams that the sky is horribly green
The sky is morbidly green just like my dreams
The sky is green and disgusting and obscene
Green green enviably green
The sky is pink I feel my horizons sink
Just like when I am probed by the consultant shrink
The sky is pink, not my favourite colour
The sky is pink and dizzy like the shrink
The sky is yellow I’m such an unlucky fellow
The sky is yellow when I text you
There’s not so much as a hello
I’m such an unlucky fellow because my sky is yellow
The sky is orange but my future is not bright
It’s the sky at night
The sky is orange
The sky is an abyss there is no longer you
By my side to kiss
You are no longer by my side to kiss
The sky is an abyss
The sky is vaulted an expanse of the universe
My tears will not escape unnoticed
Just like my universe the sky is vaulted
My tears are like rivers
Flowing through my universe
My mind is closed like the clouds
Over the Sahara desert which show no rain
My mind is distant like those clouds
My mind is closed
My heart is empty like the locket
I wear around my neck
My heart is empty,
Chained just like my empty locket
Hanging lonely around my neck
The walls are thin but thick with memories
Of when we first met
The memories are plastered thick on the walls
I can hear the neighbours because the walls are thin
The doors are shut
The doors every one of them are shut
To block out all the noise
The doors are shut to block out all the pain
This house is no longer a home
I don’t regard this home a house
This place is now a cell
This shell is now a living hell
The curtains are drawn I can no longer see the sky
My eyes are dim I can no longer see the sky
My life is strange just one long strange waiting game
Just one long strange waiting game, my life is strange
Morning turns to noon as evening turns to night
Night turns to day
Minutes and hours pass
Days, months bleed into years
The times of my life are filled with strange fear
The colour of my skin is now grey no longer tinged with red
Or rose white of coffee cream but grey
My colour has drained my life is grey
I no longer care what colour’s the sky
I no longer care
There is no more sky to tire my blood shot eyes
The curtains are drawn I can hear my casket mourn
The curtains are drawn I hear my casket mourn
I am dead
