Her soul bleeds onto every person she meet

hoping it will find somebody

with a bandaid

and if she's lucky enough

If she's smart enough

If she's pretty enough

If she's worthy enough

somebody will have needle and thread

and stitch her back together

when she doesn't have the strength

to stitch herself back up

I liked the idea and the writing of this. I hope you won't mind me making a suggestion, but I think it would be a stronger poem if the narrator was talking about another person - like, her soul bleeds into every person she meets. It's just a thought, please ignore if you think I'm wrong.

thank you for the suggestion. I'm curious how it will affect the poem? I might change it. I kind of like the idea.
