the qualities of gravity
are often found in love
all safe and sound
upon the ground
yet floating up above
.
for love ensures security
but also lets us drift
like birds on air
without a care
we soar, as wings we lift
.
it's power is protective
for it keeps us bound to earth
yet we will find
our hearts and minds
in love, are given birth
.
and yes, gravity's abundant
there is quite enough to spare
a little touch
means oh so much
when we have love to share
.
so powerful, is gravity
and love, a thousand fold
what hopeless strife
to have a life
yet not a hand to hold
.
yes, gravity is nature's law
and this you must obey
but don't be tough
give up enough
so love can find its way
