Beautiful

Oh, beautiful
An empty mind in which thoughts can swim
A place for dreams to meet
A world of whispered messages
Fractal scenes without an end
I sense a brilliance within the velvet night
Invisible yet everywhere
Lose myself forever in the now
A universe among the multitude
An endless dreaming of the dead

I liked this, PT. I wonder if it might even work without the 'my' in line 2. I enjoyed the idea of an empty mind where thoughts can swim - like a swimming pool all to yourself. Except it wouldn't be empty - it would hopefully have the water in it and me, or in the case of your mind, it couldn't be empty with all your thoughts swimming around. I'm thinking too much again...
I get the feeling behind the poem and longed for state of mind. And it would be beautiful. Time for a spot of meditation, I think. Or should that be - medication?

I really like this. In my reading it's an online generation thing, the forever now of the Twittersphere and so forth, a dream of life that ironically comes from somewhere outside of life. If I've got it completely wrong, what the Hell. I liked it. And anyway it is whatever you think it is, man. Y'know?
Thanks for reading. I am grateful for your time.
