Kitty decided on an early night, she was exhausted having had her first day back in the shop, defending herself against the new assistant who seemed to feel that everything she did was totally unnecessary.
It was a dark nightc with no lights showing and apart from a family party outside the building celebrating the New Year in a later than usual fashion – it was farly quiet.
An hour she was desturbed by the girls sniggering ss they whisphered into the water pipes... so she wrote it down as an email for Leggings who might need it for her book.... It was in a way fascinating, disturbing, and very odd!
Email.
"Let's see if she's a psychic like her mate!" said one giggling.
She could hear them recieving instructions on what to say from the commanders in the car over walky talkie's...
"Worry her, and then repeat what she's most worried over back to her, If you're lucky she'll think she's thinking and think of something more we can use against her.""
The girl nodded, her teeth gritted together in concentration. “Got it!” she yelled back.
Kitty grinned, she'd got it too! “I'm waiting!”
There was a pause, “Then they started on about an event in the past. Kitty smiled and began to embellish grandiosely.
"Is she doing this right?" demanded the girl. It was obvious she wssn't a telepath.
The voice over the walky talkie was sharp as vinegar.
"I don't know... She's never mentoned thiis before at all. Keep on going, there might be more. An early event perhaps? Anything we can use!
So the girls kept on going... Louder and a louder came the family party thing to try and conceal the goings on of the younger witches in training. I reset the heatin system so that the water ran around the building – and all who could hear it, had the allegations of people hurting them in their childhoods blasted at them. It was a fun night! Parties for all!
By 23:00 hours I'd had enough, no sleep, and they were still attempting digging in the dark. So I got up and had a midnight feast, yoghurt and tea until I was really shattered.
At around 5, I got up again, there was a man shouting,
"There is no-one to use in here!"
Apparently they can't use you for anything ifi you're really asleep!
Later about 6:15 some loud engine noises, and another man shouting about a delivery, and making sure it got to the right person.
I got up. Its a new day Leggings, I don't want to be like you!
Kitty.
