Climbing invisible iridescent rainbows

my thoughts unhindered,

paradise sits where waterfalls

of troubles cascade down canvas;

worlds apart created

here to linger awhile;

 

be pensive...calm similar to dragonfly hovering;

lightly reflecting,

affirmation of survival;

color not what you see

create foreign feeling eternity;

leave rules behind;

rather journey with essences unknown,

 

only then!

Nimble fingers with vigor can create

outside box what is;

transpiring art,

becoming one with joyful heart;

Orchid fresh from ground,

passing days taking breath away;

clarity adorns enlightenment.

its the only then...  it strikes a familiar chord.    I used to do this or replies to a poem.

some of the images are lovely.  the reflective mood is good, indecisive lovely...

much to admire.

I love this Jennie. Delicate. Artistry. I think where your dot dot dot bits are should be line breaks - start on a new line, then you wont need to do ... see what you think.

I'm absolutely useless and a complete failure at knowing where to put dots and commas, mostly I just guess, so I'm grateful to you for the help Vera. I'll change after replying to your comment. Hope I get it right this time.

Hi Vera,

before I came on abc tales I just wrote in books and kept all my work to myself so never really had any help from anyone. Nobody I know is much good at english so I didn't get any help. I cannot even begin to understand where I'm supposed to put full stops or commas. Even my spelling was bad before I came on abc tales, but I had so much help from Tina and others, that as the years went by I improved.

I'm sorry you hate the word failure, I'm just one of those people that loves to create, but when it comes to understanding the technical rules of how to do things properly I fail badly.

I do think it looks better without all those dots, so again thank you for your advice.

Hi, Jenny. I think I read this rather late one night, and couldnt get in to your thought-trains. So, I've come back to it at an earlier hour!

I'm not sure I follow all parts, but particularly like the thought of looking at nature like a dragonfly hovering - a lovely picture of quiet thoughtful observation. And noticing an orchid fresh from the ground. And also felt you were describing how artists want to combine attempting to draw the reality with their emotional and spiritual feelings intertwined - maybe that is why I find some paintings difficult to interpret, if I don't know the artist? and the philosophy he/she is envisioning? Hi Rhiannon,

I understand completely when you say you're not sure of my train of thought. I find that a lot when reading other peoples poetry so you're not the only one.

What I was trying to convey is that, there's a freedom in painting that gives an artist a chance to express their own emotions within a piece of work, sometimes we need to look outside of the box not copying exactly what we see,  but creating something that comes from deep within.

Sorry, I hope that's not being too heavy. I think what you described is perfect and many thanks for reading so deeply and letting me know your thoughts. Much appreciated.
