he asked about her history
what men had come before
she said, "i'll tell you honestly
twas only forty four"
.
the horror on his bug-eyed face
just made her want to laugh
but when he started scowling
she said, " cut that score in half"
.
but this did not appease him much
he still looked rather shocked
his mind creating images
he'd rather had been blocked
.
she said, "well tell me, mister
what's the tally YOU'VE achieved ?"
his eyebrows arched intently
she could tell that he was peeved
.
"for men, it is adventure
pinning medals on one's chest
and honey, best believe me
i required a larger vest"
.
"but women shouldn't want it
just surrender to man's whim"
that's when she lost her temper
and she soundly clobbered him
.
and after such a statement
romance never could survive
he'd clearly lost his chance
at being lover forty five

Nice. And well rhymed - also, kept a good rhythm all the way through. The rhyming was really natural, so that it didn't distract at all from the content of the poem.
