It was always your game but
I craved you like the narcotics you abuse
I inhaled and tasted you like a delicious opiate
I drank you in like liquer, and the more I sipped, the headier I felt.
Lustfully drugged, I offered you all I had.
You welcomed my attention
And you placed your bets with nothing to lose
Whilst I risked everything
Just for you.
And in my head, I have silently killed you a dozen times.
People join us at the table, but they dont see
How much I've lost and how I'm drowning in your debt.
And you laugh. You laugh long and loud
at me, the hilarious punchline.
It was never my intention to amuse
But now, now I see
The cards you played were the stronger hand
And I am the Joker
Not even thought about
As you look for your next safe bet.

I'm not sure whether you
I'm not sure whether you meant "liqueur" or "liquor" and apostrophe missing from "don't"...but really I'm nit-picking as I liked this a lot.
