Whole
by Julia (Overthetop1)
The baby boy that went missing
left a gap in you - huge like the sun
now another him has left a hole
and you clutch at your scattered selves -
You think you are just pieces, fractured,
and I know you wonder if your mind
is loose, careering in your empty house
But to me you are utterly complete
complex, but whole, real
always the total mother.

It's a beautiful poem, full of so much love. It seems trite to say I hope it brings some comfort on this sad day, but it may help that Julia's writing still burns so bright.

It must have been a big encouragement to you, and so carefully written.
And now, it seems to point you forward in still trying to encourage others with the abilities you have, as you are able. Rhiannon

Hi Coral,
Hi Coral,
you know your daughter was very gifted and when I read some of her comments on my work, I found her to have a lighthearted, good humour about her. I'm sure she was a very special daughter who had an artistic nature like her mother, because her words resonate just how versed she actually was.
Perfect poem to a loving mum.
