Well There You Are

"Well there you are. Well there you are."
Can you just drive into heaven in a gas guzzling car?
Can you wish upon the darkness when there isn't any star?
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
Well it seems to me that there's mad men at the wheel
And the ones that are deemed mad are dosed up so they don't feel
The truth of this sick crooked world
You can see it from afar
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
"Well there you are. Well there you are."
Can you wish upon the darkness when there isn't any star?
Can you just drive into heaven in a gas guzzling car?
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
Proud of your country? Kiss the flag made in some distant sweat shop
It's a bloody painted rag reigning over politicians who waltz around like Tsars
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
"Well there you are. Well there you are."
Can you just drive into heaven in a gas guzzling car?
Can you wish upon the darkness when there isn't any star?
And the old man in the corner says "Well there you are."
I've been asking the same old questions
It just goes round and round
It feels like my head is already buried in the ground
Everyone is talking no one listens, it's all just blah, blah, blah
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
"Well there you are. Well there you are."
Can you wish upon the darkness when there isn't any star?
Can you just drive into heaven in a gas guzzling car?
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
If I've learnt one thing in life, it's this
If there's somebody up there they're taking the piss
Does the bar drink the man or the drunk man drink the bar?
Well the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
They're going to take your taxes and then ask for more
While the pockets of the rich are lined with the money of the poor
We are left with nothing but this old empty jar
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."
"Well there you are. Well there you are."
Can you just drive into heaven in a gas guzzling car?
Can you wish upon the darkness when there isn't any star?
And the old man in the corner says, "Well there you are."

I like the repetition in this
I like the repetition in this - it reads like lyrics to a song
