BC. Partners

 

The bear was active

last night;

winter’s  on
the way –

and a belly-full

of food

natural for a long sleep.

 

Morning has arrived, one

horse still laying on

the pasture –

a friendly llama watchful

 

both lost a loved one

and now two companions

are side-by-side friends.

We often forget that creatures can feel the same pain as we do at loosing a loved one, it's always a relief when companions can lighten the saddness and help to ease each others sorrow bringing us back to some sort of normality. 

A touching read Richard.
