I did not know 

I could feel this way

So before I go

I would like to say

Your mother and I 

Love you so very much

You're my reason why

For everything I touch

All the things I have done

And will eventually do

Because you are our sun

I did them all for you

If I am not there 

When you stumble and fall

Please believe that I care

For you most of all

So despite the passing days

Or even if you go wild

Remember this always
