Purple

I close my eyes and I see swirls of purple

All different shades

I'm a light worker they say

Yet I feel so lost

So misunderstood

So confused

People make me feel like I am always up to no good.

I give too much, love too much, feel too much

I care too much

Maybe I am too much for this world

I never really feel like I belong here

I feel the need to get lost, to disappear

Be invisible

I feel the need to withdraw

Roam, wander

Find a safe haven

A place for my soul to rest

A cornerstone

A place to find myself
