I'm not surprised you wrote about these, they are so luxuriant!
each
pink petal, hued around
the golden centre.
they look like they don't have a care in the world, happy in their perfect pinkness.
All that's in my garden is one shivering shivering hydrangea flower and some cowering lamium :0)

They do sort of sing don't
They do sort of sing don't they and dance too or wave their feathery leaves. It's been a funny season some plants flowering early and some delayed and looking their best now like your Cosmos. Lovely photograph, they almost look good enough to eat.
