Turning grey is part

of the bargain – no

favourites upon this land

of life – where

chicks a dee dee

count each day with delight

as I sit and watch

their eager flits--

thankful I can

still hear the music.

Being an older person, almost 77 years young, I feel a great need to help younger ones an opportunity to understand our views, sense of life and opinions, since too many forget they too will be our age one day and only then will they realize growing older can be good.
