Expergefactor

Expergefactor
Heavy in slumber
My skin is dull
Eyes wide heavy with sarrow.
Where art thou expergefactor?
An owl’s coot to awaken me no more.
My mind swims bewixed uthceare
And idleness.
I long for the chitter chatter of
Birds
Or the chitter chatter of naysayers even.
I recite an ancient tale to sleep
The punch line is a mist.
Flirting with old England’s words
Deep in sleep yet my aching bones know no rest.

very interesting
Your poem looks like a chess piece, a bishop. I wonder if it's deliberate. I tried looking up "expergefactor" in the dictionary but couldn't find anything. Not even "experge". And of course you do know you've posted this same poem twice?
The content is quite interesting. Intriguing & Nolan

Ok, but I still don't know what "experge" means, to my shame?

The word may have gone out of
The word may have gone out of fashion but it can still be found in the dictionary,
For Nolan's benefit here is an explanation: A synonym for awakening is expergefacient; expergefaction is waking up and an alarm clock is an expergefactor.
Hope it helps. Best, Luigi.
