A wonderful world whirs awake
digests night's dreams to memory
scatters birdsong through windows
on pockets of air unfurled like kites
puffing pillows to crisper white
Breathing slows, shovels thoughts aside
sows rows straighter, true
lifts lids off frosted earth
digging depths, deeper still
where escaped seeds plant this day
into parts I have never grown.

good and beautiful thoughts
If all of us could keep our mind's busy with such beautiful things life would be a great deal better. But I am not too sure about the second stanza well it does sound happy to me.
Satchmo would have liked your poem I'm sure. There's a Bible verse about it too.
Keep well Adam! & Nolan
