I love the bombardment of this. Quite a walk. I enjoyed it very much. Has some great lines too, 'the sweat of labour, the sweat of love' just for one. Rachel :)

In fact it's lovely. I don't know much about prose poetry, but personally I found this a very beautiful prose recollection. The poetic descriptions are great, but it feels more like a prose to me.

Perhaps that is what prose poetry is, I don't really know. I need to look this up.

Don't look anything up!! It's just a bit baggy to be called a poem - is all. It's when poems turn into prose, narrative - I was in another hemisphere so the seasons are as upside down as I was and all a muddle but it's what I remembered before a slumber - thanks for reading x
