Half-Hidden But Significant

In youth I flew for today didn't matter,
setting out on some bold journey
like soft downy feathers
ready to take flight,
amusing ourselves,
resembling pillow fights
exploding with adventure
locked into kooky endeavours,
living on the edge before growing up,
we left rainbow pleasures
down each winding road,
collaboration of friends
on their own vivid travels,
spoke of sad treasured goodbyes
still flowing after all this time,
but world keeps turning and
I'll keep remembering,
breathing in those whispers
locked into brief memories,
born from faraway longings
that twinkle both clear then faint
of half-hidden younger days.

Another good one
Hey Jenny, I was wondering if you would be interested in allowing me to read some of your stuff online? I am considering starting a Youtube channel, to kind of promote my stuff a little, but to also examine some other writers and even some classic stuff as well as contemporary news stories that I find to be interesting. It will be a couple months before it happens, and of course I won't do it without your permission. I don't even know if you care about being published, or if you are trying to. There wouldn't be any money in it for you (or me) but it might put you out there a little more, in the public eye. Uh...let me know. I won't be offended at all if you are not interested. :)

This was splendid, Jenny. Perked me up a bit over morning coffee. And after these past five months I can use all the perking up I can find. Really lovely.
