Travelling on Energy

I feel like riding today- on

the wind as a shifting

scythe of chill-chopping

energy. A sun floats

nearby as a backdrop

for faith and profoundness

The sky lures me on

clouds rippling and wink

as I drive the asphalt

houses fleeing by

Signs call out 80 Km

and act as eager

thermometers for this area

but I really need to fly

sky higher than  

seagulls

I am an eagle anxious

to take command of

anything confronting me.
