I No Longer Know Me

I no longer know me
I looked into the mirror
I saw a different face
That's telling lies
To a body out of place
I no longer know me
I’m a creaking ancient tree
With scars on its trunk
I’m a tired old dog
That can no longer jump
I no longer know me
My skin is creeping ivy
Strangling the past
I no longer know me
How life travels fast
