The Colours Of Life
by Paul McCann
The warmth from a heart
reaching out with love
melts the cold frosty breath
of an abusive tongue .
The tears of joy are like sparking gemstones
that fall on the faces of the old and young .
The blush of innocence
against the stark blue remark
leaves a rawness of beauty unfurled .
The grey and the silver hair that shines
upon the head of people getting old in this world .
The whiteness of purity that shatters the dark black deeds
committed by devious minds .
The changing colours of charismatic lifestyles
adapting to all the signs of the times .
The green eyes of envy are
eclipsed by the gold
in the heart of spirituality .
The colours of life ,
are always around us everywhere
if we open our eyes to see .
.
