Don’t leave my side

just remember

This is not good bye
It just a
new beginning
for
you and I.

Not even good bye
I am taking fight
as a butterfly.
Think of smiles
Think of joy
Think of when I held
my baby boy
In my arms.
 
His little sister
by my side
And
I had the one
who kiss me
goodnight.
 
But that was
oh so many years ago
I am stubborn and a fighter
But soon
I think
I have to let you all go.
 
Don’t say goodnight
Don’t leave my side
But
if you must
I will turn into a butterfly.
 
You grew
into your own life
With hearts by your side
And children and joy
They gave me
light
And
Love
and
there
laugher.
And the people I knew
I thank you and hug you too.
This is hard
for you all
This was not the road
I wanted.
 
But time anyway
But all I can say is
Thank you all
For making my life
the best.
 
Thanks for all the hugs and the kisses
There inside
I may not be able to say to you
To let
you know now.
 
But
