Felonious Tongue-Twister

First and fleetest ran the fleecers
as the sheriff’s ambush fell
flushing gamblers from false gaming –
fake their loaded dice,
the fleeced now flounder
thought to flourish, what a blunder:
fools learn lessons from their losses.
(came to mind after re-reading of such an incident in an Ellis Peters’ Cadfael tale)
