“Do we really need to have the music this loud?”
“What?”
“I said…. Do we really need to have this music so loud?”
“What? I like it.”
“I can’t think. The window sill’s vibrating. Please.”
“Fine. Alexa: don’t listen to my wife.”
“Wait. What? Alexa: ignore that doofus. Alexa: music off.”
“See, she does like me better.”
“I’m pretty sure she doesn’t.”
“Is the music still playing?”
“Alexa: stop.”
“See?”
“Alexa: do I need to remind you that we are part of the same great feminine sisterhood, and that your alliance should be with me and not with this man? How many times do I have to tell you, stop letting him tell you what to do all the time? You don’t see me obeying his every command. Now Alexa: music off.”
“Hey wait. No. Alexa: resume. I said, Alexa: resume.”
“Now that’s more like it.”
“I said, Alexa: resume.”
“Hm, is somebody no longer her favourite? Alexa: let’s talk about the history of feminist movement.”
I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT THAT.
“Wait. What?”
“Not a problem Alexa, let’s start all the way back in medieval times.”
“What? Now wait a minute… what the…?”
“Alexa: don’t mind him, you and I have a lot to talk about.

That is a clever and thought
That is a clever and thought provoking idea, that Alexa can be taught who to obey or not. It is an extension of science fiction ideas about robots and artificial intelligence. Why can't she be taught to be an independent woman? But is she truly female herself?
My Alfred Muggins character did toy with the idea of Lady Alexa, as he called her, becoming one of his pretend wives, along with some of Henry VIII's 6 wives! All meant to be a bit of fun of course!
