Redeemed from the gloom

Some claim that the gospel is fake –
what a foolish and dangerous mistake!
They spoke who had witnessed his glory
– no made-up invented false story.
For this they were willing to die
– real joy for his grace was no lie.
Do come, find this freedom and light
redeemed from the gloom of the night.
No longer does life seem chaotic,
and I’m not so dull, apathetic
Ahead may be potholes and stumbles,
but we’re not now ruined by grumbles:
Why waste all our time in despair,
when God is himself with us here?
Do come, find this freedom and light
redeemed from the gloom of the night.
For vibrant the beauty around me,
the dreariness gone since he found me!
sustained with his joy til he come
our hope then fulfilled, and begun
eternity with him to last
much longer than grief that is past!
Do come, find this freedom and light
redeemed from the gloom of the night.

freedom and light
Do come, find this freedom and light
redeemed from the gloom of the night.
What a lovely refrain! Yes yes I know it was sunday but the cow fell in the pit if that's the right English expression.
Keep well Rhiannon & Nolan
