3 For 2.

I remember many years ago, some shops did, things like buy 5 get 2 free. I remember buying toothbrushes, and other things that I didn’t need. So, I decided to stop doing it, for it’s easy to get carried away.
Each morning for the last two years I have tried to have the liquid, original Cod Liver Oil, plus Omega-3 fish oil. It sounds disgusting and it is, so what I do as a good habit is buy oranges and each morning before I have a drink, I have got myself into a routine, of washing the orange then cutting it up into quarters, and as its my bottle of cod liver oil, I take a swig and quickly put the first quarter into my mouth, followed by the other three.
The juicy orange is delicious, and it quickly takes away the taste of the cod liver oil. So, I’m killing two birds with one stone. Getting two good things into my system.
I have always made sure I have bought them when I see them, on special offer, of buy two for three, for the average price a bottle is £5 which is quite expensive. I always make sure when I see them, I buy them separately, so that I can see that I am getting the bargain that I have planned for and not waiting until I get home to check.
I have found, that usually, and I don’t know if the shops have planned it this way, instead of three left on the shelf there is two! So that the free one is not available. If that is the case, I will ask the Staff. If there is no more, then I will leave it, and wait. I always make sure, that I don’t run out, as I want to keep my routine going and not get out of a good habit, as that can be easy to do.
I was passing a chemist months ago and I went in as I knew they have a reduced basket, and I went in and they had two large bottles both were reduced to £5 each! I asked about them, they were just, “Surplus stock,” And in date till next year, they were worth about £8 each, so I was chuffed to bits!
My husband Paul, has recently had the flu and asked me, “Will you get me some cod liver oil?” So, I went to Tesco and they had 3 for 2 and I was very pleased to see that there were three left. They were £5 each and I was happy to pay the £10 for all three. The free one is mine of course.
Remember to look after yourself, it’s the little things like this, that helps. xXx
