on the ridge above Kilpeck

A silvery pathway from the sinking sun
over the green, green grass
– sunlight catching  fine wispy cobweb carpet,
glistening, shaking, shimmering in the breeze.

Difficult to capture in a photo but this one my husband took does capture it quite well, though at thumbnail size probably not very clear. The cobwebs were parallel streaks at right angles to the 'path'.

Made me think of a gholf course but even more, up at dawn with rods and fishing gear excited and optimistic. But rather then on the way back disappointed, better luck next time!

Your husband sounds like a very interesting guy the strong silent type.
