3 days that changed the world

Friday: The nuisance is gone
the challenger killed
they think they have won
his death now done,
embarrassment removed.
Sun darkened, earth rocked,
hope dim, shaken and shocked.
Prophecy fulfilled.
‘Tetelestai’: ‘It is finished’.
A silent Saturday, Sabbath, worship of the Lord,
did they remember his Word? :
‘on the third day he will be raised to life…’ –
premature confusion and grief.
Sunday: The angel rolled the stone away
to show that Jesus was not there!
True God could not be cancelled!
the death he died as substitute
but then arose to execute
the plan now paid for, won
redemption bought for every man
and woman, child
who comes to him –
Christ the mighty King!
and gentle Saviour!

gory detail
There was a professor guy on the radio describing the crucifiction in all it's historic and medical gory detail went on easily half an hour I think he made half of it up. That guy upset me in the end switched off. Hope there weren't kids listening I'm not easily disturbed. I'm serious you should have heard it I think that guy must be a medical doctor or something. Sounded like he was enjoying it.
"Prophecy fulfilled. ‘Tetelestai’: ‘It is finished’. The moment the Old Testament was replaced by the New Testament.
Have a good day Rhiannon! & Nolan
