At Jangye-Ryn

At Jangye-Ryn the treasures begin to reveal
when seals and swimmers, surfer and sight seers
go their unknowing ways at sundown.
At Dollar Cove, the ends of days,
silver they said was washed
ashore from sad wrecks beyond the strand.
Or otherwise, said the winking stories,
it was only the trove of some retrobate,
rogue lost in the shifting dunes.
Either way, by truth or fable,
coin by coin, doubloon and krona,
was reurned ashore by the erosion of wind,
or merfolk's bounty,
and shoreline finders,
lucky as the gods
at twilight and the dawn,
found the treasure share
bare and bright on the sand,
unfound gold from those
who know no more.
