Splendour Of The Woods

Through woodland in silence
we ambled, nature's interlacing
branches converging; traces of
enchantment dressed to impress,
drawn softly into shadows that
afternoon; letting imagination
drift resembling flowing stream:
stimulating my musings,
lingering neath shade of leaves;
where saplings through half light
rise, so diverse yet not quite
developed...resembling clinging
innocence.
This moment revealed; in
transient stillness, breathing
spirit of earthy loam, a woody
glade nourishing secrets that
only the inhabitants of wildlife
know.
Photo is my own.

Another beautiful reverie, Jenny. Enjoyed, of course. And you are nailing these photos. Paul :)

A cool, beautiful place.
A cool, beautiful place.
And again stirring up interest in looking around by your lines, 'nourishing secrets that only the inhabitants of wildlife know. Rhiannon
