After expensive flats in London,
three years in our annexe,
now at last they have a home of their own.
They moved in today –
no longer behind a connecting door,
but just 15 minutes walk away.
Gradual transference
some decoration,
today the change of location.
Went to school from here
went home from school to there,
no ‘door to Grandpa’s’ to knock
when they want to share!
Still much to take and clear,
and still so very near,
and what will we discover in corners here and there?
Yersterday, you nearly forgot
you’d put Gordon the big engine
deep down in Grandpa’s boot –
what an ‘ouch!’ he’d have got!

Hi Rhiannon,
Hi Rhiannon,
It must be exciting moving into their new home, and it's good that they're moving just down the road, not too far, because I bet you'll miss the close bonds you must have had while together.
It's always nice to record such moments as time seems to fly so quickly.
Jenny.

feeling a little better each day thank you Rhiannon.
Went out for the first time yesterday in over two weeks, thankfully missing the showers.
I've still got the cough and get tired quite quickly, but manage to have naps in the afternoon, so I'm looking after myself. It was nice to get some fresh air without feeling sick and dizzy, and the headaches have gone thank goodness.
It's good to be back reading again too.
Thank you for asking.
Jenny.

An important event captured in verse. Family moments are what life is all about. Yes, that is so lovely that you are all so close geographically.
[My daughter lives 100 miles away. Would love her to live a bit closer.]
Enjoyed, Rhiannon :)
