In still of night leaving cold

air in peace, but for hypnotic

breezes kissing leaves...then

by first light bathed in morning

dew –

 

before golden dawn transforms

with sunshine rays spiritual

beams of light in quiet spaces;

where emerging insects feel

warmth.

 

Let me take you there along a

path between allure of beauty,

where those hazy thoughts

become clear; reassuring as

softly sounding birdsong graces

branches.

 

From earthy fragrance natures

generosity freely given, though

elusive it may be to some.

 

Let each pretty leafy glade and

flowing brook give sparkling

eyes a sense of genuine wonder,

carrying bountiful gifts dressed

in blissful green.

It's nice to know those words resonate with you Rhiannon. Nature is so inspiring and peaceful to be around.

As I get older it becomes even more important, even just writing about the beautiful side of our world takes me to a better place.

Hi Paul,

it was lovely to think I could take you with me for a walk along that path. There are so many beautiful woods around where I live, but Stanton Park is one of my favourites. I'm happy too that you liked the photo.

I'm sorry I've taken so long to reply to your best wishes Paul. I'm in a pretty dark place at the moment. I've been crippled up with pain and had pneumonia, which has left me with a chest infection and unable to walk without sticks because of my hip and knee.

I've missed reading on here, but I still feel unable to concentrate on anything, and have not slept very well for weeks now. Two lots of antibiotics are still not leaving me right. but I look forward to getting better and hopefully having another hip replacement in the future.
