  I joke, but since both parents died with Alzheimer's, I worry every time I forget anything.

It's a bit like that for me. When I worked for a living I spent a lot of my days in care homes so every time I couldn't find my keys or phone or something at home my kids would remark that I had caught Alzheimer's off one of my elderly people. They laughed but I didn't.
