Stormy Night Of Passion

Fading into night, stars
intrinsic to space and time
twinkle, while chilly forked
branches interlace; those
giants stand tall watching
over living creatures on
mother earth's floor.
Howling blustery wind and
rain batter window panes,
rousing those in their path;
bursting through each village
and town...but then in cottage
window candlelight burning
brightly can be seen.
Be still waxed flames on this
winter night, brightness
streams passion for lovers,
their hearts fly with desire;
breath like intense tempest,
till becoming a flutter.
Lighthearted eyes watch, as
in hearth pleasant blaze of
flames increases warmth,
sweethearts entwined having
consummated their love, till
all dreams rise from the
ashes, up through chimney
where they're taken on wind
to the heavens above.

Storms can make you feel cosy
Storms can make you feel cosy and romantic indoors, as can candles, but this one seems a bit more violent and disturbing of the peace — here, anyway! Two weeks ago it was the amount of rain falling and coming down the rivers causing floods, but this time, the rain has eased sooner, but the wind has been much stronger.
But we haven't lost our electricity though it has flicked on and off a few times. Rhiannon

Meteorological bits
Storms stir up all sorts of emotions Jenny and I love the way your words have shown how you can make the most of them. I used to love them. Each with their own individual characteristics and always exciting to watch. I'm sorry to bang on about the battering I encountered in my hailstone incident in the summer but it's scarred the meteorological bits of my mind for life, so I doubt I'll ever relax through a storm again.
I hope you’re safe and warm this weekend and bad boy Darragh passes you by.

when the strom peters out and
when the strom peters out and ends in heaven above, it leaves us cosy inside.

"Fading into night, stars

There's a tale of passion, Jenny. Adriotly crafted and poetically narrated.
I love the imagery, as ever.
Of course...I'm left wondering if it's based on a true story :)
