THE COLLAR

i bought my cat a collar

i hung it on her neck

now others know she is a pet

if they decide to check

it has a bell that jingles

each time she walks around

at first, she was confused a bit

and wondered,  "what's that sound ?"

a cop may make a collar

but not made for a cat

when people get arrested

the term is often that

cats could get arrested

if discovered by the pound

but if they have a collar

then an owner is around

there's no name on the collar

although "mouthy" is her name

because she talks an awful lot
