Feed The Birds, Tuppence A Bag.

Yesterday we were all expecting snow at 6pm.
I decided to pop into Town, to top up on our essentials, just to tie us over. I tried to make sure, from Christmas, New Year, and the snow at 6pm that while I am away at work that the family will be catered for, with no gaps, or lack of milk, bread, cheese, eggs, and kitchen paper!
Also, I would look in the reduced sections to see if there was anything for the cats and dogs. Now is a good time, to buy pate, and meat for the animals and Christmas cakes reduced, for us.
As I was rushing to get to the store, something caught my eye, it was four pigeons, almost fighting over something, as I came closer to them, I saw that it was tiny piece of bread.
It made me a tad sad, for I thought, if they are hungry enough to be fighting over the tiny bit of bread, then when the snow comes, everything will be buried, and they will be even more hungry.
Then that beautiful song that I learnt and sang when I was at the infants age four, came to me.
#Feed the birds, tuppence a bag, tuppence, tuppence, tuppence, a bag.#
