This is so beautiful. I felt as if I was the dryad reading this words, perfectly arranged to reflect the forest.

I thought at first you might be alluding to Keats' Ode to a Nightingale (one of my faves) until your mention of forehead and hands. Beautifully sparse and rich at the same time.

No intentional allusion to the Keats - just read it for the first time. How beautiful and melancholy it is, I loved the ending
