EMPTY CHAIR

I'm looking at your empty chair.
You haven't died, you're just not there.
But even though you're nowhere near,
It's like part of you is still here.
This room feels touched by your presence.
Your enchanting way is surreal,
So even after you have gone,
Your warmth and light I still can feel.
I can't help myself willing you,
To come back to your empty chair.
For only you can fill the space;
The emptiness that's sitting there.
