If I cannot have you,
What am I gonna do?
Will I go so insane,
I'll need my head seen to?

Shall I settle for another,
Because I can't have you?
That won't be fair on anyone.
That's just being untrue.

I've got myself a plan.
I've got it figured out.
If I cannot have you,
Then I'll just go without.

Though it may not appear much of a plan,
At least I would know that I haven't lied;
For if I'm without you or with another,
I would be ultimately dissatisfied.
