The doctor has lost his patients.
The baker has lost lots of dough.
The cameraman's lost his focus.
The psychic's lost the will to know.

The novelist has lost the plot.
The milkman has lost his bottle.
The car salesman has lost his drive.
The footballer has lost his goal.

The pole dancer has lost her grip.
It seems the jeweller's lost her shine.
But dear reader, all is not lost;
I have found this finishing line.
