GT004: Platform

'O joyous joy,' said the gremlin (who was called Midge) to his friend (who was called Franco), as they picked bits of chewed nuts from between their teeth and flicked them at the humans waiting for the train below.

The humans grumbled and mumbled, and extracted damp, mushy nutbits from their hair, but as they didn't believe in gremlins, they didn't know where they were coming from.

'Franco?' said Midge.

'What?' said Franco.

'What's that over there?' - Midge pointed.

Franco turned.

Midge gave Franco a shove, who squealed as he tumbled onto the platform, causing the humans to scream and yelp and scatter and do all the things that humans do when confronted with something they don't understand.

'Tee hee,' said Midge, as Franco sat there and nursed his swelling bonce. And, 'Snicker snicker,' he went also, as he flicked bits of nut at the unfortunate gremlin below - for although Franco was his friend, he never missed the opportunity to shove him onto a platform full of humans and pelt him with bits of chewed food.
