Sometimes I wonder
If it's possible to feel smaller,
Than I already do,
All because of one person,
Because of you.
You look at me
Hatred burning deep, smouldering
In your evil eyes,
It shocks me to the core,
I blink in surprise.
All of a sudden
You start chocking out these
Forbidden words,
I shrink even smaller,
Longing to be heard.
They say sticks and stones, only hurt,
But words are worse, chipping away
Emotional scars
Are the ones that stay.
They say that
Ignorance, is a wonderful
Form of bliss,
But this isn't the truth,
Only a wish.
I know my latest poems have been kind of depressing lately, but that's fifteen year old angst for you!

Hi HiddenBehindTheMask,
they maybe depressing, but words come from the
heart and soul and that's what makes this special.
Thankyou for sharing.
Jenny.
