The Journey

Know what I like about the journey?

I’m on my own.

When I’m on my own I can
be myself like at no other time.

Not steered into doing this
or being that.

And I know that at the end of the journey
I won't be alone. So I am not lonely.

Not at any time.

Right now,
I don’t need anyone.

Right here,
I don’t need anything at all.

Just the journey.
