he's an intelligent kind of guy

Sounds a bit like Stephen Fry
The cleverest man in the room

Then I came along
singing a different tune

And people seem to listen
I don't know why

I guess they just
prefer my songs to his

Interesting title which could apply to either party. And I guess if he is as intelligent as he thinks he is, he should be able to think things out and understand the situation. Enjoyed thinking about this poem. Bee
