More fun was to follow

Not very much happened on the journey from Olney to Milton Keynes and then the M1. But Tom had wriggled a lot in his seat; trying his best to avoid the wet patch creeping nearer to him and his underpants. He felt upset but didn't know how to say it. He remained quiet as the bus pulled into the garage. The driver, a young girl with bright hair that matched the bus, carried an assortment of crisps and bottles of fizzy drinks in her arms.
'Alright you lot, stop asking for them now, it's a treat for you all later'
The driver, with studs in her nose in her lips started to clamber in. Malcolm looked away as her skirt moved closer to her knickers. She, for her part, began to feel more settled with her charges.
She passed the treats to Malcolm who dropped them near his sandals and sandwich box. He didn't have much money but loved his job; returning home at night with fulfilling memories instead.
Malcolm knew about love; in spite of being alone now. He loved his grand-children; who helped him in his garden field most weekends. He walked his dog down to Harrowden Lane where together they would wait for the intercity train. In seconds moving on past the fields, wind farm, Weetabix factory and then Wick steeds. He'd taken his children there decades before and they had ridden the narrow gauge train. All those things were in the recess of his mind so Malcolm felt satisfied.
