Mr Snake

Oh Mr snake,

For goodness sake,

You ate the buns

And chocolate cake,

And all the pastries

That I baked

You ate before my eyes.

Oh Mr snake,

Oh deary me,

You emptied out

The pot of tea,

And look at this

I can’t believe

You’ve eaten all the pies.

Oh Mr Snake

You’re munching still,

You’ve eaten well

You’ve had your fill,

But I know you

You’ll eat until

There’s nothing left at all.

It’s such a shame,

You’re now so big

I’m not to blame.

The time has come

To change your name

I’ll call you Mr Ball
