I followed you to the shore
watched your gaze reach out
felt your dreams stir, saw them leaping
kite surfing to the horizon.
Your hair caught rides on the gusts
swept a furrowed brow smooth
leaning forwards you gulped down
this pounding air.
Your cheeks unblemished
barely lived, rarely touched
except by the breezes' lips
forming their rosy hue.
You turned, I glimpsed your glistening eyes
bathing in the view, watering your skin
flowering a smile so great
as to dwarf my world.
